IT Service Delivery Manager

An IT Service Delivery Manager will manage various projects with in the IS space to ensure work is delivered on time, to budget and meeting the project scope. The person filling this role will also assist with service delivery tasks as defined below. The role is varied with plenty of scope for development and will help the team to deliver a quality IS service to the firm. 


To provide project management skills within the team. This will include activities as follows:

  • Manage directly major project work within the department and guide other more junior project managers
  • To provide program management for all projects and within the department
  • Ensure all projects under their control are delivered in a timely fashion, to budget and with minimum impact to our internal clients
  • Report project progress to the Head of IS and other parties as needed
  • Drive project management best practice throughout the team
  • Liaise with other departments as need to marshal project resources
  • Address any issue, risks and other obstacles to project delivery

To provide service management skills within the team. This will include activities as follows:

  • Run the change management process within the IS department
  • Run the incident management process with the  IS department
  • Assist with user communication to ensure a concise and consistent communication style is used at all times
  • Produce various reports relating to service levels on a scheduled and ad-hoc basis
  • Assist with vendor management including procurement and on-going relationship management
  • Assist with budget creation and on-going management of the budget
  • Help develop, adapt and document processes within the department to ensure constituent delivery of quality services
  • Develop and report KPIs to measure the service levels being delivered to the firm
  • Help develop standards within the department to ensure consistent product offerings
  • Degree educated
  • Six or more years experience in an equivalent role
  • Strong project management skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Process orientated
  • Service orientated
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project
  • Good documentation skills
  • Good English speaking and writing skills
  • Vendor management skills
  • Experience of working with senior management
  • Law firm experience would be an advantage but not mandatory
Salary range: $45,000 – $65,000 hkd per month
