Trade Floor Support/ Senior Systems Engineer

My Investment bank client requires a Senior Systems Engineer to join their exciting and challenging environment, to provide strong customer support and oversee any diagnoses, troubleshooting, service and repair of complex equipment and systems. You will be experienced in managing and resolving various desktop issues, Telecommunications issues ie: turrets, private lines as well as network patching, cabling and data center management.


Successful candidate will possess the following:


–          Excellent communication, presentation and personality skills, with a strong background in Desktop Support in a trading environment

–          Manage problem resolution to completion and follow proper escalation procedures

–          Be able to troubleshoot technical problems alone, whilst also being able to work as part of a small team

–          Ability to support remote offices including Singapore, Tokyo, Mumbai

–          Manage client expectations in terms of complex problem resolution times


Experience required:


–          Windows 7 & 10, Bloomberg, IPC Turrets, HP desktops, Iphones, Cisco VOIP phones, Printers, MS Office, MS Outlook 2016

–          Willing to learn new technologies, determined to succeed and excel

–          Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and Cantonese, Mandarin is highly beneficial

–          Must be team player

–          Willing to be flexible in slight shift work

–          Detailed orientated, ability to work independently

–          Training will be provided


Job responsibilities are as follows:


–          Daily support in a fast paced, diverse trading environment

–          Responsible for day-to-day implementation, support, and maintenance of infrastructure, including all hardware, software, telephone and turrets

–          Deploy and support all desktop, Telecom and company hardware and iphones

–          Responsible for assisting on project work within, Network, Telecom, Server, Security and Facilities

–          Frontline support for all desktop software

–          Coordinate and manage vendor support

–          Support all application deployments

–          Rack and Stack data center equipment

–          Active Directory Services Support

–          Print Server Support, Networking, patching, testing and support

–          TV Systems support

–          RSA Console administration

–          BCP set up and configuration
